An idea came to me while I was using my portable dehumidifier, would building dehumidifiers the size of power plants, but which are powered by solar extract enough water from the air to pipe to drought stricken farmers while reducing the warming of the climate?

Imagine the jobs this could create, how green the process would be, and how sustainable? And, if water vapor in fact is impacting the warming of our climate then wouldn’t this be a powerful green solution? If you research how much water farmers use and how much water crops evaporate, the removal of water from the air would be self replenishing.

Not all regional climates would support this however, why, as with fossil fuel pipe lines, can’t we build regional pipe lines to transport the water?

I’ve chosen to publish this in hopes the idea will be found and developed.
